Kalamazoo, MI – Business has been rapidly changing over the last three years and there’s no saying when things will slow down again. Businesses big and small are constantly dealing with turnover, keeping good employees, attracting new clients, and scaling appropriately. The annual Mind Capture Bootcamp, now in its 12th year, targets those priorities every year in addition to providing business professionals and entrepreneurs of all types a venue to network and share best practices.

This year’s inspiring event debuts in Kalamazoo at the Radisson Plaza Hotel with the theme “Adapt – Improvise – Overcome” on November 9, 2023. The Mind Capture Bootcamp conference is a full-day interactive event featuring local and national speakers along with an innovation panel and group breakout sessions.

Speakers confirmed to attend this year’s event include:

  • Pat Ferschweiler, head coach WMU Hockey team, who will speak about what it takes to lead a top-10 ranked college program
  • Mike McFall, co-founder of Biggby Coffee, who will speak about his new book GROW
  • Tony Rubleski, owner and founder of Mind Capture Group, who will speak about how to get referrals and repeat business

This year’s conference is also sponsored by HBA of Western Michigan, WGS Global, Advantage Fleet, EXIT Realty Upper Midwest, Drew Denham Real Estate, BIGGBY Coffee, HomeJoy, and Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS. The event will also partner with nonprofit organization Embracing Imperfections whose mission is to bring awareness and tools to the community about mental health and suicide prevention. Shandy Longcore, the Founder, presents at middle schools, high schools, and businesses, sharing her childhood suicide attempt story with the goal of tearing down the stigma that surrounds mental health to ultimately prevent suicide.

“I’m excited to be the non-profit partner of the Mind Capture Bootcamp. The room is always full of talented people doing amazing things,” Longcore shares.

Event organizer Tony Rubleski, President of Mind Capture Group, has successfully hosted the annual business event the past decade.

“We’re excited to bring this event to Kalamazoo. I love this town; I was born there and attended Western Michigan University. Go Broncos!” stated Rubleski. “We are already seeing a positive reaction from people who will be joining us, along with many sponsors, speakers, and past alumni attendees. People are excited for high-quality, in-person business events to network with others, share best practices, and grow their businesses even with the current challenges of increasing business, with employee attraction and retention at the top of the list.”

The event brings in attendees and speakers from across the U.S. from both the business and non-profit sectors. The event focuses on several key areas of deep interest to today’s leaders including mindset, employee attraction and retention, marketing, and sharing best practices via small group breakouts. Event registration and sponsorship sales are currently underway.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite through November 3, 2023. There is a $250 discount per ticket with the code new2023 and there are still sponsorships, vendor openings, and tickets available.
